The Fluke Networks MicroMapper is a portable tester designed for network professionals that lets you quickly and easily verify the functionality of Ethernet cabling. A single button starts testing for opens, shorts, and to locate reversed and split cross-pairs.
The supplied remote unit allows one person to perform the test. It automatically checks the continuity of twisted pair cables, signaling the main connection errors via LEDs: costs and time for resolving problems reduced to a minimum! It includes an inductive tone generator (toner) for identifying hidden cables with most commercial probes (probe not included).
