The results indicate when to recharge or replace the battery
Battery manufacturers recommend recharging or replacing a battery when its nominal Ah capacity falls below 65%. Offering a clear and accurate reading of available battery capacity in Ah, the ACT CHROME allows you to quickly and easily identify which batteries need to be replaced. On the back of the instrument there is a handy table which indicates, for each type of common battery, at what capacity in Ah it must be recharged or replaced.
Advanced Pulse Loading Technology
The ACT CHROME uses advanced pulse charging technology to analyze the Ah capacity of the battery, based on its temperature and state of charge. This method is significantly more accurate than measuring voltage and internal resistance and does not deplete the battery like a conventional battery charge tester.
