Lindy's Cat.6 VGA, USB & PS / 2 KVM Combo Extender allows users to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display up to 300m using a Cat.5e / 6 RJ45 cable. Supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 with VGA ports, ideal for managing a remotely located PC or workstation. The Extender has PC and console ports on the transmitter to connect additional display, keyboard and mouse for local control and console and PC ports on the receiver to connect an additional PC on the remote console side. Both units can connect keyboard and mouse and USB or PS / 2 PC using the included KVM cables. It is also possible to connect a second source on the receiving unit and control it by pressing the switch button on the front panel or by hotkey. Through the OSD menu, users can adjust video signal, EDID, enable password protection and change hotkeys.
This extender allows a plug & play installation, no additional drivers are required.
Please note: This product is not designed to be used in conjunction with active network equipment, it should only be used in a point-to-point connection
