Liquid Level Sensor
This water level sensor is essentially a float switch. It is used to control the level of liquids inside tanks, tubs, etc. It consists of an expanded polypropylene float that moves - as the liquid level changes - on a cylindrical body inside which there is a reed contact.
When the liquid reaches the preset level, the reed contact changes state (see image below) allowing a signal to be sent to the control system.
