Lindy's HDMI 10.2G & IR Cat.6 Extenders with PoC & Loop Out, 70m are an easy-to-use solution that allows the user to extend HDMI signals up to 70m using a single U / UTP Cat.6 U / UTP (not included). For added convenience, the IR signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the supplied IR receiver and emitter cables.
Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz 4: 4: 4 8bit, video content can be displayed with incredible clarity at distances up to 70m, perfect for use in a variety of AV and digital signage applications in a range of contexts that includes residential, education, business, retail and healthcare facilities.
This extender features an HDMI loop-out port on the transmitter for simultaneous local viewing , so you can connect a local display for monitoring or to create an additional viewing zone. To ensure maximum compatibility when two displays are connected, EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be copied from both the local display connected to the transmitter and the remote display connected to the receiver.
Power over Cable (PoC) technology allows extenders to operate from a single power supply connected to the transmitter , allowing the receiver to be placed where access to power outlets is limited - ideal in minimalist and discreet installations.
In addition to PoC functionality, the slim design of the extenders allows for easier installation in confined spaces behind flat screen monitors or televisions.
Note: The indicated lengths and resolutions are possible with a direct connection between the Transmitter and Receiver using a good quality Cat.6 solid core cable. The use of a different type of cable, or the introduction of wall plates, couplers or connection panels, will result in a reduction of the possible distances.
