This USB 2.0 Cat.5 Extender transfers signal from one computer to four USB peripherals up to 50m away via a single Cat.5e / 6 or higher network cable. For maximum performance and compatibility, we recommend the use of solid core patch cables.
It consists of two units, a transmitter to be connected to the computer, and a receiver to be connected to USB peripherals.
Thanks to the Power over Cat.5 / 6 function it is possible to connect only one power supply to the transmitter, the power is transferred to the receiver via the network cable in order to facilitate its positioning. The robust aluminum construction makes it perfect for industrial installations.
