Il flussante in gel è a base di colofonia addensato classe RMA, utilizzato per l'assemblaggio e le riparazioni SMT. L'applicazione è facilitata dal confezionamento in siringa. Gli attivatori utilizzati per produrre il fondente consentono di lasciare i suoi residui dopo il processo di saldatura sulla confezione (a patto che il processo produttivo non prevede la fase di lavaggio).
