The TL-SG2210P features 8 IEEE 802.3af / at PoE ports with a total power budget of 58W * to supply power to 802.3af / at compatible PoE devices. PoE technology allows both data traffic and power to be conveyed over the Ethernet cable, thus managing a single power point. The TL-SG2210P is therefore an efficient and cost-effective choice for installing wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones and other Power over Ethernet powered devices.

Advanced QoS functionality

The switch has numerous QoS features to optimize the management of voice, data and video services over the network. The administrator can in fact set the different traffic priority based on Port Priority, 802.1P and DSCP to ensure that voice and video streaming are always clear, smooth and uninterrupted. The switch also supports Voice VLAN functionality to optimize voice and video performance.

Additional Layer 2 functions

The TL-SG2210P switch supports a full range of Layer 2 features including 802.1Q VLAN tag, Port Mirroring, STP / RSTP / MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol and 802.3x flow control. In addition, the switch offers advanced network maintenance features such as Detection Loop Back, Ethernet cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. The IGMP snooping function ensures that the switch carries multicast streaming packets correctly, while IGMP throttling & filtering allows only authorized users to receive multicast packets.

The TL-SG2210P supports various management standards such as the intuitive web-based graphical interface (GUI) or the Command Line Interface (CLI).
