2-wire Analog 4-20mA Loop Signal Calibrator Generator
This compact instrument is a very useful calibrator or generator and simplified 4-20mA loop with LCD display. The simulation range is from 3mA to 21mA, with an accuracy is up to 0.01mA. The value of the output signal is displayed directly on the LCD, the backlit LCD. The output current is adjustable via the precision encoder adjustment knob, and allows two adjustment modes: fine adjustment and rough adjustment. The 4-20mA loop simulator can also dynamically generate preset curves. It is widely used to test sensor and transducer signals, PLC, DCS and other devices. The signal generator is designed to be installed on the panel and works with the main PLCs on the market, and can also be used in the 3-wire and 4-wire 4-20 mA simulation by adding a resistance.

(The 4-20mA signal generator connection has no positive and negative polarity, no power supply is required in the application of the 4-20mA loop. The 3-wire 4-wire application scheme is similar to that of the 2-wire wiring.)

The signal generator has two operating modes: manual and dynamic.
To manually adjust the current just turn the encoder knob. There are two adjustment options:
- Fine adjustment (default): 0.05mA stepwise change, from 3mA to 21mA, the knob rotation angle is 18 turns.
- Wide adjustment: 0.5mA step variation, 3mA to 21mA, the knob rotation angle is 1.8 turns.
In manual mode to save the output value: briefly press the encoder knob, then release. The screen will show "...". This indicates that the value has been saved successfully and will be the next boot output value. The start value will remain the one stored until we press the encoder knob again.
In dynamic output mode the output will automatically follow the profile of a loop in memory.
