Arduino® UNO Rev3 board with Atmel ATmega328 microcontroller
It has everything needed to manage the microprocessor; to use it just connect the card to the computer with a USB cable or power it with a power supply (max 12V) or external batteries.
The UNO differs from previous cards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial chip.
The features introduced in Revision 3 are:
- ATmega16U2 instead of 8U2 as a USB-to-serial converter.
- Pinout 1.0: SDA and SCL pins have been added for TWI communication near the AREF pin and another two new pins have been placed near the RESET pin, the IOREF pin which will allow the shields to adapt to the voltage supplied by the board, and a pin not connected, reserved for future purposes.
- More effective RESET circuit.
