0-10 Volt PWM converter
Simple and practical conversion board from PWM digital signals to 0-10 Volt analog signals.
Features
- Power supply: 12 to 30 Volt (> 100mA)
- The interface can be used with PLCs, Arduino® boards or with other industrial control boards
- PWM Frequency Range: 1 KHz to 3 KHz
- Output current: 10mA
- Resolution: 0.1V
- PWM signal calibration: adjustment by trimmer to adapt it to different frequency pulses.
PWM input range
- 4.5V to 10V peak-to-peak with the yellow jumper set to 5V. This configuration is typical for industrial control cards with a 5 Volt interface (such as the MACH3 card).
- from 12 to 24V peak-to-peak with the yellow jumper set to 24V. This configuration is typical from PLC .
Note:
When the input is disconnected, the output is 10 Volts. When the card is switched on for the first time, it is preferable to perform a calibration. Apply a 50% duty-cycle signal and apply it to the DIN + and DIN- terminals with the input range set correctly with the yellow jumper. When the frequency is between 1KHz and 3KHz using a multimeter, we should find about 5 Volts between AO and GND. By adjusting the trimmer it allows us to precisely adjust the 5 Volts. Once this has been done, the module is correctly calibrated and can be used. The module guarantees an output resolution of 0.1 Volt and 10mA of current.
