Visual Fault Locator for inspection of fiber optic cabling
Light source @ 650nm (red) used to check the continuity of the signal during installation, testing and maintenance of the network. Useful for identifying the fibers during the cabling phase. The Visual Fault Locator or laser pen is an essential tool for quickly and easily locating any signal interruptions in fiber optic links. It is a 650nm laser source that emits red light. The usefulness of this tool also emerges during splicing and cabling activities, allowing rapid recognition, thanks to a visible laser, of a specific connector or a specific fiber. Laser range up to 10 km, available in versions for 1.25 mm ferrules for LC and MU connectors and for 2.50 mm ferrules for the rest of the connectors.
