Fluke 1748/30 Power Quality Logger with 3000A iFlex Probes
The Fluke 1742, 1746, and 1748 Three-Phase Power Quality Loggers offer quick and easy access to the data you need to make real-time, grid quality, and power decisions.
Compact and ruggedized, the Fluke 1740 Series Power Quality Loggers are specifically designed for technicians and engineers who require maximum flexibility in troubleshooting, quantifying power consumption, and analyzing power distribution systems. Fully compliant with international standards for power quality, such as IEC 61000-4-30 and capable of simultaneously recording up to 500 parameters while various events are captured, the Fluke 1740 series helps and uncover occasional and hidden energy issues with ease. The accompanying software, Energy Analyze Plus , quickly assesses the quality of the power grid (PQ) at the entry point, substations and loading point, in accordance with international standards such as EN 50160 and IEEE 519.
Which three-phase recorder is best for you?
For simple power and load studies, the Fluke 1742 delivers great performance in a rugged enclosure but can be upgraded to the 1746 model or all 1748 features.
For basic power quality logging, the Fluke 1746 captures all electrical parameters necessary to perform energy saving studies and grid planning. Optional full upgrade to 1748 is available.
The Fluke 1748 records over 500 different parameters for each reference period of mean values. This function allows you to analyze in detail the quality of the electrical network and to correlate intermittent events with the detailed data of the waveform to aid in the search and identification of the cause of disturbances.

Hardware features
- Measurement of all three phases in voltage and current in addition to the neutral current: Voltage probes for neutral and three phases and four flexible current probes.
- Full recording: More than 20 separate recording sessions can be stored in the instruments. The current range and Power Quality variables are automatically recorded to always keep track of the trend trends of the measured values.
- Extremely Accurate Measurements: Meets the stringent IEC 61000-4-30 Class A Edition 3: Test and Measurement Techniques - Power Quality Measurement Methods.
- Detect dips, spikes, and interruptions: The 1748 provides snapshots of RMS waveforms and event profile, as well as date, time, and severity to help you identify potential causes of power quality problems.
- Measures the main Power Quality parameters: Measures harmonics and interharmonics for voltage and current, it also detects imbalances, flickers and rapid voltage variations.
- Optimized User Interface: Capture the correct data at all times thanks to the quick and guided configuration of a graphical PC application and reduce the uncertainty of connections thanks to special intelligent verification and automatic correction functions between PQ recorders. Connection errors are automatically signaled by a yellow light on the power button which turns green when the problem is resolved.
- Optimized user interface: The quick and guided graphical configuration always ensures the correct data capture and the intelligent verification function indicates the correct execution of the connections, thus limiting the elements of uncertainty for the user
- Flexible Power Supply: Draws power directly from the measured circuit with the widest range available for a power quality recorder, 100 to 500 V, to allow measurements anywhere. Alternatively it can be powered by a power outlet.
- Rugged and Reliable: Designed to withstand harsh environments with IP65 rating when used with the IP65 voltage input adapter.
- Two external USB ports: One for connecting to your PC and another for quickly and easily downloading data to a USB stick or other USB device allowing you to leave the device in place without interrupting recording.
- Ethernet connectivity: Wired and wireless connections for instrument configuration and high speed data download.
- Compact dimensions: Designed for insertion in confined spaces and in paintings with a footprint of 23x18x5.4 cm.
- Industry's highest safety class: 600 V CAT IV / 1000 V CAT III for use at the connection point and downstream.
- Measurement-optimized accessories: Tangle-free flat voltage cable and slim, flexible current leads ensure easy installation even in confined spaces.
- Battery Life : Four-hour runtime per charge of the lithium-ion battery designed to accommodate temporary power outages.
- Security: Secure your most important assets from theft.
- Magnetic hook kit: Allows you to securely fix the instrument outside or inside electrical panels; It is compatible with all models and comes standard with the 1748 model.
